How much does business coaching cost? It is a very important question and there are two answers, short answer and the long answer.
Before we look at the answers, it is worth remembering that while there is a price to pay for having a business coach, there is also a price to pay for not having one. For example, how much would you be willing to pay to get your time issues under control so that you could do the school run whenever you wanted, put your baby to bed whenever you wanted, take your family on holiday whenever and wherever you wanted? Many business owners I talk to are working 60, 70 hours a week and more so would pay anything to be able to do these things and then dismiss the idea of getting a business coach as too expensive. Yet business coaching exists to enable you to set your business up in such a way that you can do exactly these things and so much more.
So then, just how much does business coaching cost?
The short answer is: Whatever you want to pay. You can get a business coach for £50 an hour and you can get one for £50,000 an hour. As with everything in life, you get what you pay for. The good news is that if you look in the right places, you can get world class business coaching for much nearer to the £50 mark.
Consider though the long answer: It depends whether you see business coaching as a cost or as an investment. If you see it as a cost then yes, you will likely think it expensive whatever the price is. If you see it as an investment then you will understand that the right coaching will pay for itself in £s many times over. So when considering a business coach, you might ask them if there is a guarantee on the ROI that comes with their coaching? If so then you will have the confidence that your coaching will cost you nothing at all because it will pay for itself many times over.
