4 Questions You Need To Be Asking Yourself At The End Of Every Month

The picture is of a question mark as the article is about questions you should be asking yourself in business

You’ve tackled another month. Did it go well? I hope so.

I want to make sure next month is even better for you though. In order to do that, here are 4 questions you need to be asking yourself to achieve the most out of the following month…

  1. What went well?

Business owners often aren’t the best at giving themselves praise/acknowledging their achievements. The way to make this easier, is to treat it as your own employee review. Make a list of all the things that went well. From meetings, to interactions, to sales, to processes and everything in between.

  2. What didn’t go so well?

This is equally important for getting a good gauge of where you’re at. These are never to be seen as failures but as opportunities for growth.

  3. What’s your main goal for next month?

Whilst you may have several, what is the most important to you? Ensure you have ample time scheduled to achieve this and treat this scheduled time as if it were an immovable client meeting.

  4. Is your schedule working?

Speaking of schedules, is yours working? In the past month have you felt a good level of balance? Or do you feel as overworked, or maybe even more so, than last month? If it’s working – great! How can you now make it even better? If it’s not, why not? Do you need to look at outsourcing? Is there a process that needs amending? Once you get to the bottom of it, you can fix it and try your new approach for next month. Business is a lot of test and measure and that’s okay.
